What marvelous weather for the Louis Riel weekend we hope everyone was able to take to opportunity to get out and enjoy it!

The senior Reach for the Top team competed in their second tournament of the year.  The tournament was held in Reston on Wednesday, February 15th.  The team played three games and came away with a 1-2 record.  All games were very close and could have gone either way.  They are currently in second place in their division. Congratulations Serena, Wyatt, Jayson and Ethan.

It was Milk Spirit Week these past few days and the student council planned some fun activities around the theme. Hopefully we have some fun photos to share with you next week.

I Love to Read month continues and our Travels Across Canada bulletin board is starting to take shape. Students have been asked to bring in photos and we are waiting on more so please get yours in.  If you are in the school be sure to take a look at the great pictures from Newfoundland to Vancouver Island.

It has been a busy week for field trips. The Grade 6 class along with Mrs. Gervin and Mrs. Greig were off to Festival du Voyageur on Monday and Tuesday. Senior band and Mrs. Gervin traveled to Optimist festival on Thursday (as a group with Virden and Elkhorn) and attended celebrations dinner theatre on Thursday night.

JV boys and girls divisional basketball tournaments were Thursday and our teams keep on showing improvement and have competed well since we are playing grades 5 – 8.
